“Touch me.” Xavier’s voice was thick now. He caught hold of one of her hands and dragged it down the length of his body.

She felt her fingers glide through crisp, curly hair and then she was touching his sleek, powerful shaft. It throbbed beneath her fingertips as she gently circled it.

“Ah, no. Wait, honey. Bad idea.” Xavier sucked in his breath and eased her hand away from himself. “Too much, love. Another couple of seconds of that and I’ll explode and I want to be inside you when I do that.”

She smiled mistily up at him as it finally dawned on her that she had as much power in this encounter as he did. Her hands trailed lovingly over his hip and flattened on his back. “You’re so strong and so sleek,” Letty whispered in soft wonder.

“And I’m about to go out of my mind. Tell me that you want me, sweetheart.” His fingers slid gently inside her and then withdrew very slowly.

Letty gasped, shivering in response. “I want you. More than anything else in this world.”

“Take all you want, love.”

And then he was moving, pulling her gently beneath him and settling himself between her legs. The sounds out in the hall faded into the distance. Letty was aware of nothing except the need to have Xavier inside her, to be joined with the man she loved. She clutched at his shoulders, her nails biting into his skin and her whole body started to tighten.

“Easy, honey.” Xavier’s fingers slid into her warmth again, testing her readiness. “You’re so small. I don’t want to hurt you.”

“You couldn’t hurt me. You’d never hurt me.” Somehow she was utterly confident of that.

“No, never.”

He parted her gently and fitted himself to her. His mouth closed over hers and with a slow, steady, inevitable stroke he filled her completely.

Letty moaned in reaction to the tight, full feeling. But the small sound was lost in Xavier’s mouth. She held herself very still as her body adjusted to the delicious invasion and then Xavier began to move.

The rhythm of his lovemaking was slow and deep and unbelievably sensual. The reality of making love with Xavier was far more thrilling than the fantasies she had entertained during the past few months. She had not realized how exciting the sheer weight of him would be as he lay on top of her. She could not have imagined the effect his curly chest hair would have on her tight nipples. She had not understood how the sexy, masculine scent of his body would tantalize her.

But most of all she had never been able to conjure up in her dreams the blazing heat that now sent her senses soaring. She had not even guessed at the sheer intensity of the experience.

Xavier’s lovemaking was just like Xavier, himself

— hard, strong and fiercely tender. She felt incredibly safe and protected even as her senses were being pushed to the limit.

The passion consumed her. Something inside Letty twisted tighter and tighter with each long, filling stroke.
